Inspiring the Next Generation
In collaboration with Back-to-Back-to-Back Champion Caleb Shrader Racing, 8-time Nitro Kart Champion Hudson O’Harrow at 4T1 Motorsports, HPE Racing, The Dirt Darlins 501(c)(3), Pat’s Acres Racing Complex, PipeWrench Plumbing, Auto Insurance in Portland by JMI Auto Insurance Portland Team, Tormented Illusion, Beard Balm by Daily Grind BC, and more, have created a unique competition designed to break barriers and inspire the next generation of female racing talent.
How the Competition Works
This September and October, 10 young lady drivers will take to the track at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, with proceeds and awareness efforts benefiting the female racing community and The Dirt Darlins 501(c)(3).
Round 1 (Ages 7–11) – with pre-registration open for ages 12–17 (18+ divisions coming soon)
Free to enter and free to race if selected
Selection Process:
- 4 experienced PRO Class drivers
- 4 random lottery picks
- 2 “new girls with grit” – athletes from other sports ready to try racing
Every driver will receive professional racing gear, helmets, karts, and a full pit crew, courtesy of 4T1 Motorsports and the HPE Arrive & Drive Program. Drivers will train with the team before competing in an official fast-lap session, with all competitors racing on the same HPE-tuned kart to guarantee fairness.

This program is led by 3rd-generation racing families and supported by a dedicated group of Supermoms who coordinate training, scheduling, and race-day support. It’s more than just competition – it’s an empowering, family-first movement to build a strong future for young women in motorsports.

Arrive & Drive Training | Pro Racing, No Barriers
The Arrive & Drive Program makes it possible for new drivers to compete like pros without the huge costs of racing. Everything is included: kart, fuel, tires, crew, safety gear, and coaching.
This program already proved its value when young racer Kyler Schwartz won his very first race after attending just one Arrive & Drive training session. Now, it’s expanding to launch the #1 Girl Racer in Oregon Contest.
